OFF TO SIBERIA: SKINNED is invited by the Goethe Institute to a guest performance at Novosibirsk Centre for Visual Arts/RU. In the frame of 48-Hours-Novosibirsk Art Festival 13 - 15 September 2019, it will be restaged as a site specific durational performance installation, covering six rooms spread over two floor levels.

On 11 October 2019, SKINNED will open the exhibition of A.T.E.N.A. at the historic site of the beautiful Chapelle du Quartier Haut in Sète/FR.

In July I had a brilliant week of choreographic research with the beautiful Company Dançando com a Diferença in Madeira/Portugal. They are currently touring internationally with Happy Island by La Ribot and will perform at Tanz im August at Hebbel am Ufer2 in Berlin. Here is a newspaper article on my work with the Company in Funchal.

We are preparing for a major new work. The site specific performance installation FIGURES will be created with professional and amateur performers, Basel citizens and refugees. It will premiere on 17 January 2020 in the frame of Museumsnacht at Museum der Kulturen in Basel with an additional performance on 19 January 2020. We are very much looking forward to creating this new work, staging it inside the stunning museum and sharing it with a big and diverse audience during this popular event.

Forthcoming performances:

13-15 September 2019, 48-Stunden-Novosibirsk Festival, Novosibirsk Centre for Visual Arts, Siberia/RU

11 October 2019, Exhibition opening A.T.E.N.A., Chapelle du Quartier Haut, Sète/FR
